The Organization

Cap Digital, the Parisian business cluster for digital content and services, is a non-profit organization under the French Loi 1901. It is steered by both a Board of Directors and an Executive Board. We are trusted by over 650 valued members: 570 innovative SMEs, 20 major corporations, 50 institutions of higher education and 10 capital investors, which together represent 170 research labs.

Since its creation in 2006, Cap Digital has received 1250 project submissions and accredited 540 of them. 350 have received funding, accounting for a total € 650M, of which € 300M are public funds. In 2009, thanks to the “Plan filière regional”, more than 60 companies have benefited from workshops on how to expand their activities and over 40 have taken part in international delegations headed by Cap Digital.

In light of our rapid growth over the past year, we have updated our structure of governance. Our sector-specific expertise is managed through an organization of Thematic Commissions, Domain Communities, and experts. This structure is permeable and adaptive. A member of a commission can also be a member of a community and a Cap Digital expert. This new structure aims to multiply exchanges between the Domain Communities and make room for future evolutions.
