FutuRIS 2011 Awards: send in your contributions!
Take part in the FutuRIS 2011 Awards, the FutuRIS initiative’s fourth annual call for written contributions.
FutuRIS is an independent strategic foresight platform run by the French National Association for Research and Technology (ANRT). It is in charge of analysing developments in the French research and innovation system (SFRI).
The FutuRIS 2010-2011 work programme has allocated prize money of 8000€ to the FutuRIS Awards, of which 6000€ for the winning paper and 2000€ for second best. This award aims to bring together written contributions from researchers and experts for the yearly FutuRIS 2011 book, which will be issued in Autumn 2011.
Topics targeted are: public research and intervention policy in Europe and across the world, the positioning of France in Europe and in the world, France’s contribution to innovation in Europe, the relationship between science, technology and society, defining research and innovation priorities, promoting the results of public research.
Awards Agenda :
- Abstracts (3,000 to 6,000 characters spaces included) are to be handed in by 15 December 2010.
- The final abstract selection will be determined by a panel of judges by 10 January 2011.
- The complete texts elaborating on the selected abstracts (30,000 to 50,000 characters spaces
included) are to be submitted by 21 March 2011.
- The jury will announce their selection by mid-April 2011 at the latest.
