CitID is a project were designers and artists from around the world are encouraged to create a visual interpretation of the city closest to their heart.

Ultimately the goal is for every city worldwide to have its identity on CitID within a unique collection of global designs depicting various styles and trends.

Selected designs will later be published in a CitID book.

The project is still in an early phase. Designs from about 150 cities worldwide have already been received and published.

The initial launch of the site displays work mainly by invited designers, but now welcomes public submissions.

The quality of the work is of course varying. Some regions already stand out with awesome representation. It’s also interesting to see the differences in visual approach relative to e.g. continent. 

CitID is a non-commercial project. The project’s motivation is to create a one-of-a-kind library of designs that will inspire and hopefully create a better understanding of the world we live in.
