The Ubifrance Economic Mission in Turkey is organizing a mission for French companies that would like to discover the Turkish mobile telecommunications industry. The mission will take place April 1 and 2 in Istanbul. (Registration deadline March 5, 2010)

The Turkish mobile communications industry has been particularly dynamic and competitive since the implementation of mobile numbers portability (November 2008) and the arrival of 3G (July 2009). The call to tender for WiMAX, planned for 2010, will further stimulate this competition.

In this mission, participants will:
- Discover the Turkish market and understand the principal mechanisms through presentations by selected Turkish speakers.
- Benefit from a unique opportunity to present their product and know-how during a conference before a targeted audience.
- Meet the main companies of the Turkish mobile phone industry (GSM operators, equipment and service suppliers, agents, distributors…) with personalized one-to-one meetings.

Participation cost is 925€, tax not included, housing and transportation not included.
